Silicone Rubber Sponge Strip

Silicone foam strips have excellent resistance to compression and deformation. Compared with traditional carbon-based foaming materials, foam silicone can resist to high and low temperatures (-60~200°C). In addition, the material has excellent aging resistance and weather resistance, and is an ideal material for various types of high-performance sealing, shock absorption, cushioning, sound insulation, protection, and insulation.

Silicone sponge rubber foam tube (tube/pipe/hose/sleeving/tubing) widely used in the baking industry, machinery manufacturing, electronics industry, hot melt equipment industries for sealing, insulation, and high performance gaskets and seals.

In general, the working temperature of foam silicone is -60 ℃ to 200 ℃. It can withstand instantaneous high temperatures of thousands of degrees, so it is often used to make high temperature and heat-resistant coatings, such as in the aviation field.

Compared with polyurethane foam, foam silicone can well meet the requirements of EN45545-2 in terms of flame retardancy. Its foam density is 0.08~0.15g/cm3, and its service life can reach 2~4 times that of polyurethane foam.

In addition, it is also significantly better than polyurethane foam in terms of comfort, foam density and environmental protection, so it is expected to replace traditional polyurethane foam in the aerospace, rail transit, and high-end automotive industries.

Foam silicone has good insulation properties. After burning, the generated silica is still an insulating substance.
