TPE Profile Silicone Rubber For Door Window Wooden Seal
Thermoplastic elastomers TPE and TPR are the fastest growing types of rubber and plastic materials in recent years. They cover many varieties of branches and can change the physical properties of materials through compounding system adjustments.
Therefore, they are more and more widely used in various industries. Thermoplastic elastomers are mainly based on TPES, TPEV, TPU, and SBC-based elastomer TPES is currently the most commonly used elastomer TPE branch, which is what we most often call TPE, TPR (based on SEBS, SBS basic modification ).
Main Features
● Temperature resistance from -60℃ to 80℃.
● Excellent aging resistance.
The performance decline rate is less than 10% after one week of aging in the artificial accelerated aging box, and the performance decline is less than 10% for 100 hours of ozone aging (38°C).
● Excellent electrical properties
Its dielectric constant is 1.3*10-4 at one kilohertz, 2.3*10-4 at one megahertz; volume resistance is 9*1016Ω/cm in one minute; 2*1017Ω/cm in two minutes .
● Good solubility, blending performance and excellent oil-extending properties.
It can be dissolved in many common solvents. Its solubility parameter is between 7.2~9.6. It can be blended with a variety of polymers and can be used in rubber industry.
● Elastomers that can be used without vulcanization.
The processing performance is similar to SBS. The scrap can be reused. It meets environmental protection requirements, is non-toxic, and meets FDA requirements.
● The specific gravity is lighter, about 0.91.
● SEBS has good UV stability, oxidation resistance and thermal stability, so it can also be used in asphalt for roofs and road construction.
